 羅13:1 在上有權柄的、人人當順服他．因為沒有權柄不是出於　神的．凡掌權的都是　神所命的。
  Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
 羅13:2 所以抗拒掌權的、就是抗拒　神的命．抗拒的必自取刑罰。
  Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.
 羅13:3 作官的原不是叫行善的懼怕、乃是叫作惡的懼怕。你願意不懼怕掌權的麼．你只要行善、就可得他的稱讚．
  For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:
 羅13:4 因為他是　神的用人、是與你有益的。你若作惡、卻當懼怕．因為他不是空空的佩劍．他是　神的用人、是伸冤的、刑罰那作惡的。
  For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.
 羅13:5 所以你們必須順服、不但是因為刑罰、也是因為良心。
  Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.
 羅13:6 你們納糧、也為這個緣故．因他們是　神的差役、常常特管這事。
  For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing.
 羅13:7 凡人所當得的、就給他．當得糧的、給他納糧．當得稅的、給他上稅．當懼怕的、懼怕他．當恭敬的、恭敬他。
  Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.
 羅13:8 凡事都不可虧欠人、惟有彼此相愛、要常以為虧欠．因為愛人的就完全了律法。
  Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
 羅13:9 像那不可姦淫、不可殺人、不可偷盜、不可貪婪、或有別的誡命、都包在愛人如己這一句話之內了。
  For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
 羅13:10 愛是不加害與人的、所以愛就完全了律法。
  Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
 羅13:11 再者、你們曉得現今就是該趁早睡醒的時候、因為我們得救、現今比初信的時候更近了。
  And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.
 羅13:12 黑夜已深、白晝將近．我們就當脫去暗昧的行為、帶上光明的兵器。
  The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.
 羅13:13 行事為人要端正、好像行在白晝．不可荒宴醉酒．不可好色邪蕩．不可爭競嫉妒。
  Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.
 羅13:14 總要披戴主耶穌基督、不要為肉體安排、去放縱私慾。
  But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.
